Ionising Radiations guide

The BVA Ionising Radiations guide is easy to use and written by vets who are radiation protection advisors (RPA). This is the third edition of the guide, which explains the key changes that are now in force as a result of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017 (IRR17), and provides guidance on how to carry out simple and appropriate risk assessments and develop your local rules. We have also worked closely with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to clarify the tiered approach to fail-safe lighting and its application in veterinary practice.
