Guidance for registration of kept birds
New rules make it a legal requirement for bird keepers to register their flocks with the Animal Plant and Health Agency. Keepers have until 1 October in England and Wales and 1 December in Scotland, while it is already a requirement in Northern Ireland.
Ahead of these changes, BVA and British Veterinary Zoological Society have produced this useful guidance for keepers of kept birds across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The document covers the different forms required for each nation, different flock sizes and types of bird.
