The passing of Carl Padgett

We’re extremely saddened by the news that BVA Past President Carl Padgett has passed away.  

Padge, as he was affectionately known, was an inspiration in the post of BVA President from 2011/12, having previously served as Chair of the Animal Welfare Foundation and President of BCVA.

He had a zest for life and always made time for others. Combined with his knowledge, talent and leadership, he was widely respected and loved within the profession. His loss will be keenly felt, and he will be greatly missed. 

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
