BVA has agreed a partnership with the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) that gives its members access to equine courses at special rates.
Under the agreement, BVA members will benefit from a 30 per cent discount on BEVA courses delivered in the UK. The extensive programme for 2019 includes training in a wide range of locations on key topics including equine dentistry, horse reproduction, sports medicine and equine nursing.
Simon Doherty, BVA President, said: “We’re delighted to be working closely with BEVA to offer our members preferential rates on their diverse and high-quality CPD offering. The partnership widens access and offers a great choice of courses to those looking to refresh skills, build on their knowledge and stay up to date with equine veterinary practice across a broad range of areas and specialisms.”
Renate Weller, BEVA President, said: “We’re really pleased that BVA considers our equine CPD as the first choice for their members. As an association we’re committed to delivering world-class CPD for vets who look after horses and by working with BVA we will be able to support even more vets than we currently do.”
The only training not covered by the discounted rate is CPD delivered in international locations and BEVA approved and VetPD courses, which are delivered by third parties.
