Sarah Armstrong

Sarah is an experienced Director-level HR and Change professional with a commercial management background. Known for her strategic perspective and ability to rapidly deliver results in diverse environments, she has successfully supported businesses through organisational design, restructuring, and performance improvement, achieving significant savings and growth. 

Having originally trained as a veterinary surgeon, Sarah transitioned into HR, where she has since supported various industries, including publishing, healthcare, education, and finance. Her expertise spans HR transformation, complex employment issues, and driving cultural change, particularly in high-growth and evolving businesses.  

Sarah’s passion for improving workplace environments led her to join the Great Workplaces by BVA accreditation scheme. She is excited to combine her knowledge of HR and people management with her love for the veterinary profession, helping veterinary workplaces unlock their full potential and improve the experiences of their teams.
