Rita Dingwall

Rita is an experienced Veterinary Business Consultant with a background as a Group Practice Manager, bringing vast expertise in veterinary practice management, accounting systems, and team development. She is highly regarded for her leadership, negotiation skills, and ability to lead teams through significant changes, including mergers and RCVS inspections. 

Since 2020, Rita has run her own consultancy, mentoring practice managers, troubleshooting veterinary businesses, and supporting practices in achieving RCVS Standards. Her previous roles include President of the Veterinary Practice Management Association (VPMA) and Business Development Manager for AT Veterinary Systems, which involved visiting many veterinary workplaces, gaining extensive knowledge in operations, marketing, and financial management. In 2008, Rita won Veterinary Business Journal Practice Manager of the Year. 

Rita is a strong advocate for Great Workplaces, believing it is essential for improving employee satisfaction, retention, and client care by focusing on work-life balance, mental health, career development, and communication. She wishes this accreditation had existed during her time in practice, recognising the long-term value of promoting positive workplace culture.
