Kirsten is a highly skilled and compassionate veterinary professional with over a decade of experience in small animal practice. A graduate of the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine, she has built a career as a trusted general practitioner and leader. Kirsten also holds a postgraduate certificate in Diagnostic Imaging.
As the Lead Accreditor for Great Workplaces by BVA, Kirsten is passionate about creating and supporting thriving veterinary workplaces. She believes that veterinary teams deserve environments where they can succeed and grow. The accreditation process is a powerful tool for showcasing success and empowering workplaces to improve their people practises. With a strong focus on mentorship, team development and continuous improvement, Kirsten brings her empathetic approach to each workplace, ensuring that people remain at the heart of each accreditation.
In addition to her clinical work, Kirsten has contributed to international animal welfare projects, including Mission Rabies and the Aniplant Project in Cuba, further highlighting her dedication to the veterinary profession.
