Jess Woolrich

Jess is an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing, a Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Education from the Royal Veterinary College, and a certificate in Veterinary Nursing Exotic Species. With over a decade of experience, Jess has worked in various veterinary settings, including first-opinion, mixed, and referral practices, both in the UK and abroad in Hong Kong. 

As an advocate for veterinary education, Jess has taught Level 3 Diploma Veterinary Nursing students and is co-developing training on Non-violent Communication. Currently, she serves as an Associate Trainer at VetLed, where she is involved in developing human factors awareness programmes. Passionate about improving workplace culture, Jess believes that Great Workplaces celebrates excellence while encouraging continuous growth within veterinary teams.  

Throughout her career, Jess has demonstrated leadership, empathy, and collaboration, all while continuing to practice as an RVN to stay current with clinical skills.
