Committee vacancies

Regional rep applications are now open

Have you got what it takes to be a BVA regional rep? As a rep, you'll be influencing priorities setting for the year, contributing to horizon scanning, and providing an informed steer on policy development.

Regions open for application are:

  • East Midlands

  • London

  • North East

  • Northern Ireland

  • Wales

  • West Midlands

  • Yorkshire & Humber

What's involved?

  • Gathering members' views on key policy areas, with full support from HQ
  • Representing those views at 4 meetings per year
  • Reading papers, contributing to debate, and providing constructive challenge

Members in the region will be invited to vote for their preferred candidate in January 2026, with the successful representatives joining Council from April 2026 for a three-year term.

If you think you've got what it takes, then take a look at the role description and submit your application, including a short manifesto.

Closing date: Monday 1 December at Midday

If you have any questions, please contact BVA's Policy & Governance Director [email protected]
